You go into the living room...

You decide to crawl through the cupboard into the living room where a painting in the other room seems to act like a door. The strange and random tunnel leads you into darkness. The only light in the room is coming from the TV static. With the little light you have, you can see that couch has been pushed up against the door leading into the hallway. No wonder you couldn't get through.

Just as you are about to take a step forward, the painting door slams hut and the TV static gets louder as a voice from it screams "THIS IS MY HOUSE! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!"
